Reflex Silver - 3M
Reflex Silver - 3M is a high quality flex vinyl with a fashionable design and special surface effect. It is suitable for transfer to textiles like cotton, mixtures of polyester/cotton and polyester/acryllic and uncoated nylon. This film can be used on t-shirts, sport & leisure wear, sport bags, promotional articles & more.
Poli-Flex Reflex Silver - 3M is composed of wide-angle, exposed, retro-reflective lenses. The photometric values (min. retro-reflection values) conform to EN ISO 20471:2013.
This product can be cut with all current plotters. We recommend you use a standard 45 degree blade. After weeding the cut flex vinyl is transfered by heat press. After weeding, the polyester liner should be removed warm.
Poli-Flex Reflex Silver - 3M is suitable for hot washes (60C) as well as tumble drying. Always wash textiles inside out.
The material is certified for EN ISO 20471:2013, ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 and CAN/CSA Z96-09 standards. This is the highest achievable certification for High Visibility Clothing for Professional use. Any other classification would fall under this certification. Additionally, the 4781 Reflex Silver material is certified to OEKO-Tex Standard 100 Class I standards, the highest certification for goods that meet human-ecological requirements and is CPSIA Compliant. Class I is the hardest to achieve as it is the standard for articles for infants.
The 3M product used to achieve the retro-reflective effect is used in the 3M 8725 Silver Transfer Film. You can use this product as the comparable 3M product.
The guarantee for a secure and long-lasting bond of Poli-Flex is only given when following the specified temperature and pressure conditions. We always recommend evaluation on test material.
Application guidelines
- Apply at 3.0 bar (medium pressure)
- 320F/160C - 15 seconds
Please adjust the application time when using highly structured cotton or cotton mixture fabrics
