2000 Series Inks

Ink Handling

All personnel mixing and handling these products must wear gloves and eye protection. Clean up all spills immediately. If ink does come in contact with skin, wipe ink off with a clean, dry cloth (do not use solvent or flush solution). Wash the affected area with soap and water. Consult the Nazdar® 2000 Series Material Safety Data Sheet for further instructions and warnings.

Ink Changeover

When changing from Roland Eco Max original ink cartridges to Nazdar 2000 series cartridges operators should remove the empty OEM ink cartridge and replace with a Nazdar ink cartridge and continue printing. This can be carried out either one color at a time or all colors together.

No ink fills are required.

For conversions from non OEM inks or bulk feed systems please consult www.nazdar.com.

Clean Up

Use the Ink Flush Solution for the most effective cleanup of ink spills and cleaning of jet assemblies. Avoid contact with skin. Wear approved safety glasses and appropriate gloves when using Maintenance Solution. Consult MSDS for further safety precautions.

Storage/Shelf Life

Storage and transportation of ink and cleaning solutions should be carried out between 5°‐ 25°C (41°‐ 77°F). Ink and cleaning solutions should always be kept away from heat, sparks, and flames. If stored or transported at a different temperature, the ink should be allowed to reach room temperature before calibration or printing.  This may have an adverse effect on performance and will affect any warranties given by Nazdar®.  Recommended shelf life of this product is 15 months from the date of manufacture when stored under preferred conditions.

Outdoor Durability

Nazdar® 2000 Series Inks are designed for maximum outdoor resistance to color fade and chemical attack caused by the combined effects of UV degradation and environmental pollution.

Each color is formulated with durable long‐term outdoor pigments. When Nazdar® 2000 Series Inks are used with proper color management, color variance of the original print density will be minimal over a period of 24 months for vertical outdoor exposure.

To ensure the color properties of Nazdar® 2000 Series inks do not change during outdoor exposure, it is important to use proven substrates (flexible vinyls and pressure sensitive vinyls) that do not “yellow” or vary from their original white cast when exposed outdoors. All Nazdar® 2000 Series Inks are formulated for maximum adhesion to an extensive range of unsupported and pressure sensitive vinyls. Always pretest for acceptable adhesion prior to production.
